摘要 作为一种特殊的波导形式,光子晶体光纤具有特殊的结构和特性。自从它面世以来,受到了广泛关注并成为近年来国内外光电子学研究领域的一个热点。本文概述了光子晶体光纤的发展、结构组成及分类,介绍了光子晶体光纤各种特性以及它们在光电通信领域的研究现状与应用方向。 采用矢量等效折射率法,借助传统阶跃型折射率光纤模型,计算出光子晶体光纤的等效折射率及色散常数并对光子晶体光纤的色散特性进行了分析;向光子晶体光纤包层空气孔中注入不同折射率的物质,对填充物折射率与光子晶体光纤等效折射率之间的关系及其色散特性进行了分析研究,得到光子晶体光纤被填充后的色散曲线;得到填充材料的折射率与包层等效折射率间的关系;得到填充材料的折射率与光纤色散间的关系;同时对比了相同结构无填充光子晶体光纤,分析其色散特性差异。分析结果表明,可通过改变填充物折射率的方式对光子晶体光纤色散大小和零色散点的位置进行调节。这一结果对光子晶体光纤的设计具有一定的参考价值。
外文摘要 As a kind of special wave guide, photonic crystal fibers have their unique configuration and characteristic. Since being invented , PCFs have got much attention and become a hot research point in the fields of optics and electronics. This paper starts from the development of PCFs, outline their construction and constituents, introduce the odd characteristic of PCFs , the actuality of their study and the way of application for photo-electronic communication. Based on normal step-index fiber model, this paper investigated FCFs and calculated the effective-index and dispersion constant of PCFs by using vector effective index method. It is important to input some-kind of material into the cladding of PCFs, whose index could be controlled. And we also studied the relationship between the index of stuffing and the effective index of the cladding of PCFs, the effective index of PCFs and the dispersion property too. The characteristic equations of PCFs were got, then we found the relationships among the effective index, the dispersion character of PCFs and the index of stuffing. Comparing with general PCFs, the distinction of the dispersion property of the new PCFs and general PCFs is analysed.
